The Bachelor

It's that time of year again! Time to watch 25 desperate women throw themselves at a cute, funny, charming and very available guy. Seriously, I have watched every season of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette since the show started (Remember Joe Millionaire!?!) I have even blogged about a few of the past seasons (check my archives).

This season, Jake Pavelka- the 31 year old airline pilot from texas who got dismissed on the last Bachelorette- is looking for love. To start things off, join the Rose Ceremony Game where you can pick which women you think will make it to the end. ABC offers some fun prizes with the grand prize being a trip to St. Lucia, but I just do it for the fun. I am even right sometimes!

Join the game and cast your predictions here:
http://abc.go.com/shows/the-bachelor/rose-ceremony-game-welcome

You have to pick which 15 girls will make it past the first ceremony, and also answer some trivia questions. I am sure you can look up the answers to the questions online, but I want to see how much I remember from what he said last season... I'll post my scores each week and my girl predictions once the first episode airs- on January 4th.

Do They Know It's Christmas

It's not a secret that I am a huge fan of LA. My preference is to live on the Left Coast and I am sad when I am away. Not that they made this video for me personally, but a friend of mine managed to gather a phenomenal crew of people to record the song 'Do They Know It's Christmas'. It's not about the actual singing (although they held it down pretty nicely!) but it was seeing individuals who I know from my time out in Cali joining together to make a heartwarming and awesome video- I honestly am very homesick for my friends out there having watched this. And they are funny- thank you guys for putting a smile on my face, I hope to be home soon.

p.s. Shout out to my valet boys @ Hyde :)

J Brazil - Girl I'm Tryin

Yayyyyyy! I have known this guy for years, and since the day I met him he always said he was going to make music- well finally the wait is over and he is official. You can find his new single for sale on iTunes and the music video just went up on youtube-

Before you start complaining, YES it is based on the Cyndi Lauper song 'Girl's Just Wanna Have Fun'. He is not trying to rip it off- it is a male response to a very classic and popular song- and frankly the lyrics are smart and the hook catchy. I love it and am really proud of J for getting his vision out there for the world to see and listen to.

The video has a fun, energetic vibe and if you listen to the song a few times you'll find yourself humming it all day. Very catchy and light spirited, guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

You can find J Brazil on facebook and I suggest you keep an eye on this one, cuz chances are you'll be seeing a lot more of him in the near future :)
