Blur - Under the Westway and The Puritan

Wow.   Being an insomniac has it's perks- like for instance just now I noticed that 'blur' was trending on twitter.   Curious- since the song ''Song 2' a.k.a 'Woo Hoo' was a huge favorite of mine, and honestly still gets me movin' and shakin- I decided to investigate.   Turns out that yes, it is that  Blur... the one I used to jam out to on the couch in high school.   If you went to my high school, you know which couch.   If you didn't, get your mind out of the gutter- it was a filthy couch we 'borrowed' from the theater and hid in an unused classroom that also served as our makeshift hideout when we were, ah, skipping class... ahem, I mean studying.   Whatever.

Point is- it's freaking BLUR!!!!   So they have released two songs- Under the Westway (not Woo Hoo-ish at ALL)

and The Puritan (a bit more Woo Hoo-ey but still sort of chillaxed).
Click here to read all about it and about their upcoming tour and all that fun stuff.... meanwhile in my mind, I am hoping I fall asleep to the wonderful memories of headbanging to the lyrics:
I got my head done
When i was young
It's not my problem
It's not my problem
Woo hoo
When I feel heavy metal
Woo hoo
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Woo hoo
Well I lie and I'm easy
All of the time
But I'm never sure why
I need you
Pleased to meet you yeah yeah
