Movie Scene Legos

This is so incredibly dorky that it’s kind of cool: 22-year-old Alex Eylar recreated classic and current film scenes with, as you can see, Legos! Why a 22-year-old is still playing with Legos, I do not have an answer for, but yellow brick versions of Harry Potter, Twilight and Inception…definitely awesome. His other masterpieces include Psycho, American Beauty and Indiana Jones.

Alex said: ”I’m an enormous film fan and when I was growing up everybody had a big bucket of Lego or knew somebody who did. I started collecting Lego when I was about five and the collection just grew until high school. Now I’ve got around 30,000 pieces.”
The projects usually take about half an hour, except for more complicated projects like Inception (pictured above).

“Inception is my favorite,” he said. “The rotating hallway was a neat challenge and a big visual payoff, and that’s the kind of thing I aim for.” Future set designer in the making?
