LA Freeway Traffic Jam Band

I feel like this is a bit harsh- but I also know if I had been stuck in that traffic I'd have been really upset so....

Band That Blocked Hollywood Freeway Charged with Felonies

This video image provided by KTLA-TV shows California Highway Patrolmen at the scene of a Los Angeles freeway blocked by a truck advertising a musical group on Oct. 12.
If you were among those who were outraged when the band Imperial Stars blocked a Hollywood-area freeway for an impromptu performance (or, publicity stunt), which in turn caused a massive traffic jam, you'll like this. Three of those band members were charged Tuesday with felony conspiracy charges.
"This is not a matter involving free speech or lawful protest," District Attorney Steve Cooley said in a written statement obtained by the LA Times. "This was a well-orchestrated commercial stunt perpetrated by these defendants and their accomplices with no concern for the lives or well-being of thousands of innocent victims who were caught up in the prank."
The musicians, Keith Richard Yackey, Christopher Roy Wright and David Paul Hale were arrested after the Oct. 12 incident. They'd pulled a modified truck across three lanes of the southbound 101 Freeway, and proceeded to play a song called, aptly, "Traffic Jam 101."
